madj: I am a 60-something husband of over 40 years of a saint of a woman met in college, a father of beautiful, well-adjusted, independent women who have both provided me with "sons", the only males having entered the family since my brother, brother-in-law and I all are fathers of daughters. I am also a grandfather of two beautiful girls, adopted African goddess. I am also an evangelical christian conservative. All of these explain the origin(s) of my views.
