Farrah. When I was a young adult, that name denoted THE sex symbol of the time. She was that completely covered. She is no longer with us, taken by cancer at age 62.
Micheal Jackson. Pop music icon turned wacko, died from heart failure at 50.
Billie Mays, famous pitchman, also died of heart failure at 50.
I'm on the downward side of 54. I am not concerned, nor do I put stock in "signs", but incidents like these make one take stock and contemplate ones mortality, even if briefly. It does, however, remind me that I have an eternal soul, that I am saved, that God is still in charge and that when He is finished with me He will call me home.
