Well, it appears that, with significant Democrat bribes to the Senators from Louisiana and Arkansas, quite a feat considering all the Ivy-leagures in the Senate, this U.S. Senate is actually going to attempt a debate on the so-called health care reform bill before it. Pundits on both sides of the political spectrum questioned whether voting in favor of the "debate" resolution was a vote in favor of the entire bill. Well, as I see it, having been in similar situations, though on a much smaller scale, in church politics, it is essential to vote to debate this important legislation. A vote to do so allows the actual facts in the bill to come to light, even if the MSM refuses to bring them to light thus far.
I have voted in the past to allow debate on on a resolution I was 100% against just so the debate could be held. I still voted against the resolution itself, generally as the lone "nay", but at least I was allowed to present an opposing view nonetheless.
As I stated earlier, the main stream media will now be forced to actually report the facts of the health care legislation as it is printed, rather than as it has been presented by the authors and their sycophants. This is how "Robert's Rules of Order work, even in a setting as corrupt as the U.S. Senate.
