Yes, that is I, your humble author, whacking away at a Pussy Willow bush, which, by the way, was neither a bush nor a pussy. It actually gave up quite a fight, but my hops-powered tree whacker defeated the plant. I learned that this mangle of four-inch diameter trunks was grown from a single twig some sixty years ago, planted by my wife's Aunt Pearl. We don't believe we killed the plant, but we certainly did stunt its growth for awhile. Sherri needs its "fruit" for school next spring. There were no other casualties, much to our amazement, except for a few small scratches and an axe handle. Here is what remains of the once huge "bush" - the world's ugliest stump.

It really wasn't planted 60 years ago, more like maybe 30, but whatever... It was a very Ingalls experience except I wish you would have built us a cabin or at least a rail fence.
The limbs are still piled outside - have at it!
About the $20.00 a gallon for gas. I saw a guy talking about that on the Today show. He was crazy. The obviously had 20 minutes they had to fill so they brought him on!
